HI I also have the Star wars edition and found the memory cofigurations that were posted, what im wondering is that on all the star wars models, mine came with 6 gig im guessing a 4 and 2 gig so I was considering swapping out the 2 for an 8 gig but wondered if there were different maximums for the different specs, I have the i5 Intel with Nvidea and intel chipset the cpu runs at 2.6 mhz if i recall..... can I go further with my memory?

You can go ahead and swap the RAM with an 8GB RAM. Below is the configuration you use.

Two SODIMM slots - NON customer accessible / upgradeable

DDR3L-1600 Dual Channel Support

Supports up to 16 GB of system RAM in the following conƭgurations

● 16384-MB total system memory (8192×2)

● 12288-MB total system memory (8192×1) + (4096×1)

● 8192-MB total system memory (8192×1) or (4096×2)

● 6144-MB total system memory (4096×1) + (2048×1)

● 4096-MB total system memory (4096×1) or (2048×2)
