Ohhhh, now that is interesting, thank you! My broadband package is due for renewal, so I've just upgraded and should be sent a wifi 6 router as part of the package (if not I'll ask for one) so hopefully this might work!!

I've been having to use the laptop on mains power since I purchased it 6 months ago, but bizarrely had the same thing a few weeks ago where it suddenly started dropping out repeatedly again even though plugged into the mains.

I rolled the drivers back to the previous version and hey presto it worked again!

I'll update when I get the new set up 🤞

It is frustrating because random wifi drops are hard to troubleshoot and many of the recommended fixes will not "fix" that sort of problem; like flushing DNS cache, etc. DNS (mapping the internet address to the actual IP address) gets cached in memory the first time you browse to a new website but it all disappears every time you shutdown the computer. Another issue for me is that every time a new standard is adopted and released, it is supposed to be backwards compatible with older equipment; obviously it is not being fully tested. And I don't understand why new Realtek adapter drivers are released that are not fully tested. Hope you get a resolution to your original problem.

I got the exact same issue here with my HP laptop 17-cn3158ng. WiFi keep disconnecting at random intervals (every few minutes) for no obvious reason. Driver is updated to the latest version, Windows error logs are empty in that regard and I can confirm the disconnect is definitely not caused by my router / modem. Any further ideas how to fix this?!
