Operating System: Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

I pushed the SD card into the slot and could not grab it to pull it out. It was hanging out a bit at that time. Tried pushing it in to engage the spring mechanism, but it went in further. Now, it's even worse.

I just got it out. This is what was wrong and what I did:

 

On the surface of the case (where the keys are found), are 4 thin rubber "stand-offs", near all four corners. They are each about 1/2 inch in length. I believe they are there to protect the screen when it is closed. Directly below the one located in the front-left is the SD memory card slot. Apparently, the rubber piece was defective, such that when I pushed in the SD card it also got pushed into the SD memory card slot at the same time, causing the card to be lodged into the slot. There was a small piece of the rubber stand-off piece that I was able to grab with the point of a pair of small sewing scissors. I was able to remove the rubber piece, which freed up the SD card. I was then able to grab the card with my fingernails and remove it!
