My laptop will not charge or run using the USB -C charger plugged into either of the 2 USB ports. It is dead and will not power up from battery or while plugged in. No lights or anything is coming on. I need a way to contact HP support to figure out how to get this laptop fixed.

@Mitch-68 If an alternate adapter didn't work either, we may have to get the device repaired as the issue seems to be with the charger port or the DC power connector, I suggest you talk to HP support and discuss your options, follow the below steps to get started:
1) Click on this link - http://www.hp.com/contacthp/
2) Click on Sign-in or select the product using the below step:
3) Enter the serial of your device.
4) Select the country from the drop-down.
5) Click on "Show Options".
Fill the web-form, to populate a case number and phone number for yourself!
Also, if you are having trouble navigating through the above options, it's most likely because the device is out of warranty, if yes? please send me a private message with the region you are contacting us from,

If you wish to thank me for my efforts, you could click on "Accept as solution" on my post as the solution should help others too.

@Mitch-68 To confirm, you've go the 90 W AC power adapter connected to the device, and yet it doesn't charge? If no, please do as the USB-C doesn't charge the laptop, it's an output to charge other devices from the laptop, that said, here's a few other things that should help resolve the issue, and I am from HP Support, so I'll help you right here, let me know if you need anything else, as well:
Meanwhile, have you attempted to connect the device to an alternate power cord or adapter?
Or check with another wall outlet, excluding any surge protectors to check if it works?
Alright, here's the best way to revive the laptop, using the HP Guided Troubleshooter:
CLICK HERE FOR STEP BY STEP GUIDE
(simply select your description of the issue from the bottom of the screen to gain access to the next set of steps that should resolve your concern).
If the above doesn't help or the steps are insufficient, check the below steps:
Let's start with a hard reset of your notebook computer before you try any other troubleshooting steps.
Reasons for a hard reset
A hard reset has the following effects:
-
Clears the memory.
-
Reestablishes the connection between the BIOS and the hardware
The following conditions can be helped by the hard reset:
-
Windows stop responding.
-
The display suddenly goes blank.
-
The computer does not wake from sleep or hibernate modes.
-
Software applications freeze or fail to respond.

Yes I have a 90W charger, plugged into the thunderbolt port on the laptop. I have tried the hard restart with no success. The LED light next to the charge port does not come on. Ive gone through the troubleshooting guide that you provided with no success. I personally do not have an alternate power cord or device, but I took it to another repair shop and they used their 90W power cord and it did not charge the computer either.
