Every time I restart my laptop for any updates which are required for updating. It just stuck on the restart page with the hp logo. Does anyone know how to fix that?? I have a BIOS Version: Insyde F.29 Release Date: July 4, 2022, on my system. And I have Windows 11.

Hi @Shallysingh ,
Welcome to The HP Support Community.
Thank you for posting your query, I will be glad to help you.
I understand your HP ENVY laptop is having trouble completing the restart process, which could be due to a variety of reasons.
Here are some troubleshooting steps you can try to resolve the issue:
Perform a Hard Reset:
- Power off the laptop completely.
- Disconnect all external devices (USB drives, printers, etc.).
- Remove the battery (if it's removable) and unplug the AC adapter.
- Press and hold the power button for 15-20 seconds to discharge any residual power.
- Reconnect the battery and AC adapter, then power on the laptop.
Boot into Safe Mode:
- Restart your laptop and immediately start pressing the F8 key (or Shift + F8 on some systems) to enter Advanced Boot Options.
- Select "Safe Mode" and see if the system can boot into Safe Mode. If successful, you can try to perform updates or troubleshoot further from there.
Check for BIOS/UEFI Updates:
- Ensure your BIOS version is up to date. You mentioned that you have BIOS Version Insyde F.29, released in July 2022. Check HP’s support website for any newer BIOS updates and follow the instructions provided to update if necessary.
Reset BIOS/UEFI Settings:
- Enter the BIOS/UEFI settings by pressing Esc or F10 during startup.
- Look for an option to "Restore Defaults" or "Reset to Default Settings."
- Save changes and exit.
Use Windows Recovery Options:
- If the laptop remains stuck, you might need to use Windows Recovery tools.
- Restart the laptop and repeatedly press F11 to access Windows Recovery Environment.
- Choose "Troubleshoot," then "Advanced options," and try "Startup Repair" or "System Restore" if available.
Check for Hardware Issues: HP PCs - Testing for hardware failures
- If none of the above steps work, it could be a hardware issue. You may need to run hardware diagnostics.
- Access HP’s diagnostic tools by pressing Esc during startup and selecting "Diagnostics" from the menu.
Reinstall Windows:
- As a last resort, you might need to reinstall Windows. This will erase all data on your laptop, so ensure you have backups of important files.
- You can use a Windows installation media (USB or DVD) to perform a clean installation.

I hope this helps.
Take care and have a good day.
