HP Spectre x360 15
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

I have an HP Spectre x360 15 2017 and the touchpad has started to bulge out of the case and will no longer click down. I am hoping to get some advice on who to contact and if this will need to be sent in to HP for repair.

Hi,

It is the most likely the battery which is expanding. You should stop using it and turn it off completely and remove the ac adapter.

I will flag the post and see if someone will help you.

Regards,

David

I have brought your issue to the attention of an appropriate team within HP. They will likely request information from you in order to look up your case details or product serial number. Please look for a private message from an identified HP contact. Additionally, keep in mind not to publicly post personal information (serial numbers and case details).

If you are unfamiliar with how the Community's private message capability works, you can learn about that here.
