HP Pavilion x360 - 14t-dh100 CTO

Purchased in 2022,  HP  recommended (and I bought) a HP USB-C Mini Dock  (msip-rem-piq-hsa-q001pr).  Finally got around to tyring the video ports on the dock with the superspeed USB-C port but have only been able to find a driver/firmware to support USB-A ports; video ports on dock do not work.  Now running Windows 11 22H2. Suggestions welcome  - extremely pisst at HP!

Your machine is an HP Pavilion x360 - 14t-dh100 CTO  which is very hard to find its REAL specs BUT it should have same ports as the following machine:

                     HP Pavilion x360 - 14-dh1180tu

The HP USB-C Mini Dock is useless it is not compatible with your machine.  Machine has 1 hopeless USB 3.1 Gen 1 Type-C™ (Data Transfer Only, 5 Gb/s signaling rate) port which does NOT support Alt mode nor Power Delivery. You can NOT use it to

  • Charge your machine,
  • Connect to an external monitor with/without hub/dock/adapter (some hubs may have builtin chip to support this)

If you wish to connect 2 external monitors (only-total 3), you can use

  • Monitor 1: HDMI direct cable,
  • Monitor 2: Using a Displaylink Certified USB-A to HDMI adapter such as

                                     USB to HDMI Adapter

Thanks much Banhien; I've spent too much time getting frustrated while searching for a solution.  Is there a way to tell if a device is display link compatible (if I'd like to replace the HP brick)?
