Hi
Can you help me with some information regarding HP pavilion 15- au181sa bottom case screws, some of the screws are stripped off and unable to get them out, I would like to buy a new set of screws for the bottom case, I tried to google it using the laptop model but unable to find much. Does anyone here know the screw size/model/ number id love to order some and replace all screws? And where can I find them and buy some it's pretty urgent.
Thank you

Hi:
Chapter 6 of the service manual has the screw dimensions for each removable part.
HP Pavilion Notebook PC Maintenance and Service Guide
For the bottom cover, there are 8 Phillips 2x5 screws.
2mm in diameter, 5mm in length.
Chapter 3, page 21 of the manual has the screw kit part number.
Screw Kit HP part # 856382-001.
It is highly unlikely that you will be able to find that kit.
I recommend you go to a local PC repair shop or hardware store now that you know the screw dimensions and see if you can buy the number of screws you need.
