Same problem as described here:
https://h30434.www3.hp.com/t5/Notebook-Hardware-and-Upgrade-Questions/Fix-for-Unknown-USB-Device-Dev...
...but when i click on that link:
...that window wil NOT be opened:
..instead of the window i shown on top, another window will be opened:
-> In my opinion it's NOT Windows 10 what you describe on https://h30434.www3.hp.com/t5/Notebook-Hardware-and-Upgrade-Questions/Fix-for-Unknown-USB-Device-Dev...
Thank you for your feedbacks! 🙂
With best regards from Switzerland,

@intro_dev Welcome to HP Community!
I understand that USB 3.0 is not working.
Please let me know are you connecting the mobile device to the USB 3.0 port.
Some USB 2.0 devices will not work when connected to a USB 3.0 port. To fix this, uninstall the USB 3.0 driver in Device Manager using the following steps.
-
In Windows, search for and open Device Manager.
-
Locate the USB 3.0 Root Hubs under Universal Serial Bus Controllers.
-
Right-click the USB 3.0 Root Hub, and click Uninstall.
Please refer to the following link to Troubleshooting USB Connections.
