What is wrong with WD Black M.2?
This will work and is a very good price:

I can give you an opinion, but I do not, at this moment, have a "technical" document that compares the performance of SSD devices. Also, what criteria do you use to evaluate a device as "best" ? Price/MByte? Operating temperature? Length of warranty?
A long time ago, I read an article written by a statistician, reviewing an article that ranked various brands of "training" (not "competition") running shoes. His statistical analysis was that the author of the review ranked "weight" of the running shoes above all other factors. The statistician questioned why the weight of the "best" shoes was the most-important factor for a "training" shoe.
The "moral" here is that any technical document about the "best" SSD may have its own bias, and thus may not be applicable to your situation.
So, what is your definition of "best" ?

That's not a lot of details for us to work with.
Power-off your computer.
Power-on your computer.
Immediately, enter BIOS SETUP.
Is the SSD "detected" by the motherboard?
If not, check that the "data" and "power" cables are correctly connected to the SSD.
Check that the other end of the "data" cable is correctly connected to the motherboard.
