I have replaced the original 2Gbt Ram for 4 Gbt Ram* but the bios and the OS is only showing 2Gbt. I am using bios version F.5A. Is there a later bios version I should install to recognise 4Gbt Ram? Running 64 bit Win 10. Your advice would be appreciated.

Kind regards

Chris

My apologies! I forgot to check the obvious. I opened up the laptop and it appears that one of the ram sticks was not seated all the way in. I removed it and re-seated it properly and now I am seeing 4Gbt ram. That's a relief!

So if anyone else experiences this problem, that is something to check.

Kind regards

Chris
