I'm currently using a Qualcomm card, but it doesn't support 802.11ac, so I bought a BCM94352HMB off eBay, but I can't find drivers online, so is there drivers from HP or Broadcom that I missed? (I don't have the card yet).

Also, should I uninstall old drivers (network and bluetooth) for the Qualcomm card that I'm currently using, before going in and replacing the Qualcomm card with the Broadcom card?

Hi:

Here are the links to the latest HP wifi and bluetooth drivers for that model card...

Wifi:  7.35.351.0

https://ftp.hp.com/pub/softpaq/sp78001-78500/sp78044.exe

BT: 12.0.1.921

https://ftp.hp.com/pub/softpaq/sp75001-75500/sp75330.exe

Yes...before installing the BCM card, uninstall both the Atheros wifi and bluetooth devices and also check the uninstall driver box.

Then shut down the PC, unplug it, remove the battery and install the BCM wifi card.

W10 will install a slightly newer driver for the wifi after you install the driver I posted above.

I think it will be 7.35.352.0

Searching up the NIC, BCM4352, which is basically the BCM94352, shows a maximum theoretical speed of 867Mbps. But if I look in settings, the Link Speed (receive/Transmit) is at 144/234 Mbps. Why is that?

It properly identifies the card as "Broadcom BCM4352HMB 802.11ac 2x2 Wi-Fi Adapter" which should have a theoretical max of 867 Mbps.

HP Recommended

To see the connection speed, go to the Windows control panel>network and internet>network and sharing center>click on your wireless connection on the right and you will see the actual connection speed.

With '5 bars' it should be 867 MBPS.

If it isn't, I wouldn't know why that would be.

HP Recommended

I'm at 4 "bars" but the "Speed" jumps anywhere between 110 Mpbs to 350 Mbps

For example; https://prnt.sc/10ubo88 but also https://prnt.sc/10ubpew Those are just screenshots.

As far as I'm aware, it's not suppose to jump around

My wifi adapters do not stay pegged at the max even with 5 bars.

They go from 866.7 to 580 and anywhere in between.

It is what it is.
