Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

The technical speficiations say that this system can have up to (just under) 3GB of VRAM, yet it's discrete, and hard soldered to the board. Mine has 512 MB... How is it exactly this can have nearly 3 gigs? If a different motherboard is the answer, if someone could give me a model number so I one could be ordered, I'd be down for that.

Also, I'm not really comcerned about posting the S/N of an 11-year old laptop with no warranty. What is someone going to do, steal my warranty?

Thanks for your response. You may look for the compatible system board part number using the link here: http://h10032.www1.hp.com/ctg/Manual/c02842252.pdf
