Hello, I have an HP 15 Pavilion CS series from 2019, that has 1 HDMI, USB-C (but does not have the DP (Display Port) or Thunderbolt displayed) and 2 USB-A ports.
I would like to display 2 more monitors to it, via a docking station, and wanted to know what kind of docking station I need?
I am little confused as the I have read that I would most likely have to have the USB-C that has either the 'DP' on it or the Thunderbolt symbol. As i don't have this, are there any alternatives that would work?
Here is the info for my laptop
Any information on this would be greatly appreciated.
Thank you very much

The one I linked has a HDMI and a DVI which can easily be adapted to a second HDMI. I run 2 external monitors from the dock, and plug everything I use with a "desktop" setup (keyboard, mouse, ethernet, audio) into the dock so I can grab the laptop and go when I need to work away from my desk. The dock I linked would allow extending the desktop across 3 monitors with 2 externals up to FHD (1920 x 1080) so the laptop screen plus 2 extended FHD desktops. You need an extra AC adapter for the laptop if you want to be 100% mobile or you can just use the laptop AC adapter you have to power while docked. Pick up the laptop and the AC adapter and shove them in the briefcase. Again, the one I linked is an example. Many more offered with varying configurations.

Yes you want a dock with DisplayLink capability. This has hardware inside which can use a regular USB data connection to provide video output to an external monitor. These types of docks tend to be bigger and more expensive and have multiple ports on the dock for audio, ethernet, extra USB, etc.
That is an example; lots of options on amazon.com.

Thank you for the Reply.
So if I wanted to run 2 additional monitors, what would be the best way to go about this? Ideally I would like to have 2 monitors and my laptop display going as well (for a total of 3).
Would I be able to run 2 HDMI connections, or would it have to be more in line with having 1 HDMI, and one USB?
Could I take the one you recommended in the suggestion, run 1 HDMI from that and the 2nd from my Laptop port?
Thanks again for the suggestions
