As the title suggests, my USB hard drive randomly disconnects and immediately reconnects when not connected to power, causing programs on that hard drive to quit.

It's worth noting that this situation can also occur when the device is connected to a power source, but less frequently and without causing the application to crash.

I have used the latest BIOS firmware, checked the power options and turned off USB power saving, and also turned off power saving options for all USB hubs in Device Manager.
