Which battery for HP 250 G4

Hi

The battery in the specification for my laptop on the HP website shows 2 types 3-cell, 31 WHr Li-ion and a 4-cell, 41 WHr Li-ion, They are different voltages 10.95v and 14.6v respectively. The original is a 10.95v can I fit a 14.6v without damaging the laptop?

Any advice would be welcome.

That battery will be just fine.

I would purchase that one because it will extend the time running on battery power.

So will the charge circuit will charge to the higher voltage? And will the regulation circuit s not over heat? I think for the time being I'll just make sure it is plugged in when I'm using it.

If you looked in the Manual you would have found that part number and battery is listed for your laptop.

The battery is sold by HP. "On Backorder"

You have a "SMART AC"  adaptor. "YOUR AC JACK SHOULD LOOK LIKE THIS"

Charging and regulation is controlled by the SMART AC and the computer.
