adding a second hdd to hp x360 14-ba104na ?

I have just purchased a hp Pavillion x360 14-ba104na which has a 256gb m2 ssd installed. Is it possible to add a second hard disk such as a sata one and if so do i need any extras to do it

Hello m_r_jackson90,

According to your computer's Maintenance and Service Guide, you should have a SATA drive slot in the bottom right-hand corner:

Steps to replacement are located on page 42 of the manual posted above. The top cover and the battery must be removed. 

A hard drive rubber sleeve with HP Spare part number 924283-001 is required. The slot will accept 2.5" hard drives in the 7.2 and 7.0mm form factor.

You need one of these:

The hard drive spare part kit does not include the hard drive rubber sleeve. The hard drive rubber sleeve is available using spare part number 924283-001.

And see p. 42 and 43.

Not clear whether this includes the little ribbon cable piece to attach the SATA HDD or SSD to the motherboard.

i bought the caddy and the sata connector however they do not fit into the case when attached to the hdd also the sata cable isnt long enough to attach to the connector can anyone assist?
