Ive seen registry edits to make but my registry is missing on of the sub categories.  I called HP and they said the system was build to save energy so the 15 seconds timeout is there to stay, YET others have called HP and given a fix for this issue.  I can't believe there isn't an easy way to change this feature.

Does not work on the hp envy 360, would be willing to pay for a fix to keep the keyboard lit up all the time

Thanks but it is an HP function that appears not available in this bios.  This computer and some others need a minor bios update to permit stay on keyboard lighting.

Yes..that is the right answer but I wish there was a "work around" for those who want to try it and take the risk.  I saw several registry edits but my registry isn't quite the same.  I'm sure there is a simple fix but until then, I'll keep my eyes open for one.
