3 month old Envy PC all in one.   When watching item on Netflix, with sound, the computer just dies and screen goes black. Unable to turn off the computer via power button and have to unplug.   This has happened several times, and not always !when viewing a movie with sound.

in addition, when "auto maintenance" runs, the computer screen will freeze up and again have to resort to unplugging the machine.

Any comments/recommendations would be appreciated.   Thank you

Update the drivers in your computer. The drivers are not working well that's why your computer is not communicating with the hardware parts correctly. You can use RadarSync to scan the drivers and to find which need updating. You can use the same software to update the drivers.

It may not have the best visuals, but does the issue persist in safe mode with networking? The following document details how to get to safe mode in Windows 8.

Thank you ..... I'll give that a try..     It is disappointing to have to go through this with a computer that is only 3 months old.
