The maintenance and service guide on your notebook's support page is for the previous model series.

 

HP Pavilion Laptop PC 15-eg2000 Manuals | HP® Customer Support

 

There is only one M.2 slot according to the manual and you can see the location of the single M.2 SSD in the illustration in chapter 5, page 41.
