failed bios update on 15z-cw100

Hello,

Using hp support assistant I performed a bios update which has now corrupted my bios and I am stuck in a bios recovery loop.

I have followed the guidance on the page below but haven't had any luck recovering the bios. The laptop was fine before the upgrade so it was likely the bios update that fried it, I guess I should have let it be.

Can anyone help with a method to recover the bios? unfortunately my warranty expired 1 month ago.

What exactly happens when you power on?

The system goes into a BIOS recovery boot loop, see attached picture.  It will continue to do this over and over again without successfully recovering the bios.

Can you get into the UEFI interface by tapping esc as you power on?

No I can't it goes straight into the BIOS recovery then won't let me into UEFI interface

On Windows + B you have to be patient. Hold down the keys for like a full 60-90 seconds to see if anything different happens.
