I just picked this up second hand. Are the detailed specs available on the HD web site?
This unit comes with a 1 tb hard drive.
Can I upgrade it to an NVME M.2 SSD?

Hi:
Below is the link to the service manual for your notebook.
http://h10032.www1.hp.com/ctg/Manual/c05527167
Chapter 1 has the supported drive types.
According to the manual, there is a M.2 slot that supports NVMe M.2 SSD's.
Chapter 3 does mention a SSD gasket part number which is probably not present in your model...

The manual says there is a Phillips PM2.0×2.4 broad head screw holding the memory card in place. I saw a youtube video of someone installing this memory and the screw was not there. He was kind of stuck.
I googled looking for this screw and could not find it.
Any ideas on how to get it?

Yes, it is probably very hard to get the exact screw size you need.
All of the screws I have seen are 2 mm in diameter but the lengths are different, ranging from 2 mm to 4 mm.
So, I was doing some searching for you and came up with something that might work.
This kit on Amazon has screws that are slightly longer than what the specs indicate...3 mm long instead of 2.4 long.
We are talking infinitesimal differences here (0.6mm), but I suppose a miss is as good as a mile.
Why I think this kit will work is because it comes with washers.
If you had to, you could add some washers either under or over the SSD to add the extra depth (assuming the 3.0 mm length is too long).
Either that, or go to your a local PC repair shop and see if they have a screw that fill fit from their spare parts inventory.
