Product Name: HP Envy 15-j122tx
Pre-installed OS: Windows 8.1
New clean OS installation : Windows 10 pro
I have bought Samsung 850 pro 1 TB SSd for my hp envy notebook.I am going to replace an old 1TB HHD by a new 1TB SSD Samsung 850 EVO on my HP Envy Touchsmart 15 j122TX. how to installing the SSD on my HP plus clean installation of Windows 10 pro, setting up the OS to ensure a smooth performance? Please give me step by step instructions as I am un-experienced. Thank you for your support.
MY notebook has 24 msata SSD install can I use msata with my new SSD after the clean installation of Windows 10 pro?

Here is the Service Manual:
Pages 41-47 show removal of the service bay door and replacement of the hard drive. Just install the SSD in place of the hard drive. You can remove the mSSD drive. It is not useful with a main SSD drive. It was designed only to speed up a regular mechanical drive.
Do you have a Windows 10 installation disk? You can download an image file and create a Windows 10 DVD or thumb drive installation media from the Media Creation Tool Microsoft webpage.

Yes, I have windows 10 pro installation disk. Can i use msata SSD with main SSD drive? or Is possible to install windows on msata SSD (256gb), does my system allow windows installation msata ssd?

Your laptop is set to RAID mode which is AHCI compatible. You may need to load a RAID driver during Windows installation.
Any SSD on the market 2.5 inch SATA will work. 16 gigs is max memory. All spelled out in the Manual.
