I bought a new hp900 4tb pci express solid state drive .I put it in a external box and then cloned my main drive to it then installed it in my laptop I had some issues with windows 11 not showing it but eventually got it all working fine until I tried to boot the system on my new ssd I get a error saying device not available then it tries to recover but never does unless I switch the boot sequence back to the old drive. i found a article on here that said 11th generation processors need a special update for rapid memory access so i installed it but it only affects the sata drive so nothing changes I know I am close any help is very appreciated

Hi, Mark:
I recommend that you temporarily or permanently disconnect the 1 TB mechanical hard drive and see if the HP cloud recovery tool allows you to use the NVMe SSD normally.
Make the recovery media before you disconnect the hard drive unless you have another PC available to make the recovery media with.
You can use the HP cloud recovery tool to create a bootable USB recovery drive that will reinstall Windows, the drivers and the software that originally came with the PC.
Here is an info link for how to use the utility. You will need a 32 GB USB flash drive to create the recovery media with.
HP Consumer PCs - Using the HP Cloud Recovery Tool in Windows 11 and 10 | HP® Customer Support
You can download the software from the Microsoft Store.
HP Cloud Recovery Tool - Microsoft Store Apps
If you have to use the utility on another PC, you will need to enter the notebook's product number in the tool's search window in order to proceed to make the recovery media.
The PC's product number is: 3WE41UA#ABA
Then you can take the free upgrade back to W11.
