Hello, thank you very much for the suggestions, but I'm afraid this does not suit me. As I wrote earlier, I am a military man, I am in the Armed Forces of Ukraine, unfortunately I do not have the opportunity to visit HP service centers. Thank you for your help.

Hi @ViperBooTS

Kuroi_Kenshi is away for now; however, I'm Hawks_Eye, and I'll be happy to help you out!

I understand, and I appreciate you reaching out despite the challenges you’re facing. Since visiting an HP service center isn’t an option, let’s focus on solutions you can try in your current situation.

Troubleshooting Steps for HP ENVY dv6-7301tx Not Charging

Check Power Connections

  • Ensure the power adapter is securely connected to both the laptop and wall outlet.
  • If available, try using a different power outlet or charger.

Perform a Hard Reset

  • Disconnect the charger and remove the battery.
  • Hold the power button for 15 seconds to discharge residual power.
  • Reinsert the battery and charger, then try turning the laptop on.

Inspect the Charging Port

  • Check for dust or debris blocking the power jack.
  • If possible, clean it gently using compressed air or a soft brush.

Verify Battery Status in BIOS

  • Restart the laptop and press F10 repeatedly to enter BIOS.
  • Look for Battery Information to check its health and charging status.

Update Battery Drivers

  • Open Device ManagerBatteriesMicrosoft ACPI-Compliant Control Method Battery.
  • Right-click and select Uninstall, then restart the laptop to reinstall the driver automatically.

Use HP Support Assistant (If Installed)

  • Run a battery test using the HP Support Assistant to check for hardware issues.

If none of these steps work, the issue may be with the battery or charging circuit, which could require replacement. Since reaching HP support is difficult for you, an alternative would be finding a trusted local technician who can assess the battery and charging system.

Let me know if you need more help, and stay safe!

Thanks,

Hawks_Eye
