manufacture programming mode is in unlock mode

for model sleekbook 6-1150ex .

- after powering on the laptop encountered the msg " manufacture programming mode is in unlock mode"

tried already re-installing windows,upgrade/downgrade of bios version but it doesn't make any changes .

please share your ideas.......

I recommend reviewing this thread regarding this issue. 

The only fix is to send it back to HP for service.  Sorry.  😞

Go to hp website and download the BCU(BIOS Configuration Utility) sofware.(Works with win xp,vista,7,8)

And then Follow the instruction:

Thanks for the info! Worked great on an HP stream 8 tablet. I just had to modify the cmd for the 32 bit bios config utility.

Thanks for sharing. Unfortunately it didn't work with my Elitebook 8460p. Command was executed successfully but no change on BIOS MPM values.
