I tried both of the mentioned options. Uninstalled microsoft ACPI compliant control method and also downloaded the latest Bios from Hp. Im using EliteBook Folio 9470m. But still nothing seems to be working. The battery is still zero and "plugged in but not charging". i dont think the battery needs replacement because it was fine a few days back.
