360 pavillion

 I opened my laptop yesterday to put it into the tablet position and the bottom tab is out. This laptop is less than two years old, I purchased it in November 2018. I am a college student who is relying on this computer to get me through school and now I am left with a broken computer.  Can anyone who has gotten a solution Right tab on screen popped outRight tab on screen popped outIMG_20200710_171606.jpg please share the solution with me too? I can't afford a repair of hundreds of dollars for what seems to be a design flaw. Please help! I need my laptop fixed so I can attend class.

I have the same issue (Pavilion x360 bottom edge of the screen popped out. What was the solution to easily fix this?

HP Recommended

I am having the same issue as well.  One of the screws appear to have popped out.  There was no trauma to the unit.  I would be very interested in hearing a solution and if there is a confirmed design flaw.

What did HP end up offering to fix this issue? So many users are reporting the exact same problem-- are they stepping up to replace the faulty products, even out of warranty?

@LydiaGH

I understand your concerns.

In that case, I would suggest you conatct our phone support and check for the support option. They will help you.

Here is how you can get in touch with phone support.

1)Click on this link - www.hp.com/contacthp/

2)Select the product type.

3)Enter the serial number of your device or select let HP detect your product option.

4)Select the country from the drop-down.

5)You should see the HP phone support number or Chat option listed.

We are experiencing longer than expected wait times to reach an agent due to the CoViD-19 impact and there might have been issues in you getting the expected resolution on the issue.

Have a nice day!!

I was offered a discounted screen replacement to the tune of $300.  I am curious as to how much the normal price for screen replacement would be...ouch!
