@Aldenski, Welcome to the HP Support Community!

Thanks for reaching out about your query regarding HP DeskJet 4155e Printer Orange 'i' Light Flashing!

We're thrilled to have the opportunity to assist you and provide a solution.

The flashing orange 'i' light on your HP DeskJet 4155e All-in-One Printer typically indicates a general error that requires attention. Here are some steps to troubleshoot and resolve this issue:

Check for Additional Messages:

  • Ensure there are no error messages displayed on the printer screen or in the HP Smart app. Sometimes, these messages provide specific details about the issue.

Restart the Printer:

  • Turn off the printer using the power button.
  • Unplug the power cord from the printer and wait about 10 seconds.
  • Plug the power cord back in and turn on the printer to see if the error persists.

Check for Loose Connections:

  • Ensure that all cables are securely connected, both power and data cables.

Check the Ink Cartridges:

  • Open the printer’s cartridge access door.
  • Make sure the ink cartridges are installed correctly and are properly seated.
  • If necessary, remove them and reinstall them to ensure they are securely in place.
  • Verify that the ink cartridges are not depleted or faulty.

Clear any Paper Jams:

  • Even if there is no visible paper jam, make sure to double-check the paper path for any obstructions or small pieces of paper stuck inside the printer.
  • Remove the rear access door and inspect the area for jammed paper.

Hope this helps!

Take care, and have an amazing day!
