Battery leaking

HP Recommended
HP Pavilion TouchSmart 14-b145tx Sleekbook

Initially I have thought that it was the plastic case on laptop that has has been melting.

There are some sticky liquid on the laptop behind and on the table as well.

As a result the plastic around the hinges of the monitor have also given way.

However I now realised it is because of the battery leaking.
This is a safety issue manufacturing defect as the laptop is working but the battery is leaking.
Posting this because I find that it is dangerous and not responsible to do that.

This can lead to health issue.
