Initially I have thought that it was the plastic case on laptop that has has been melting.
As a result the plastic around the hinges of the monitor have also given way.
However I now realised it is because of the battery leaking.
This is a safety issue manufacturing defect as the laptop is working but the battery is leaking.
Posting this because I find that it is dangerous and not responsible to do that.
This can lead to health issue.
