I have a notebook for 3 years, no repairs, so I applied for care pack rebate on Nov. 21. On Nov. 22 I received email that everything was in order and I could expect rebate in 6 to 8 weeks. When I did not receive after 8 weeks I emailed IBS Focus CRC for status but never got a response. The phone number on the care pack webpage (800-504-2007) rings 10 times and disconnects. The website HP.com/go/rebatecenter gets an error message "site cannot be reached". Has anyone been in this situation and what can be next step? Thanks.

Welcome to the HP Support Community!
I want to thank you for taking the time to speak to us today.
I have brought your issue to the attention of an appropriate team within HP. They will likely request information from you in order to look up your case details or product serial number. Please look for a private message from an identified HP contact. Additionally, keep in mind not to publicly post personal information (serial numbers and case details).
If you are unfamiliar with how the Community's private message capability works, you can learn about that here.
Thank you for visiting the HP Support Community.

I finally received an email yesterday from IBS FOCUS CRC telling me I would receive my rebate check in about 7 days. This is good news, but my frustration could of been avoided with better communication. A simple reply to my request for status that payment would be delayed beyond 8 weeks would have been welcome. They also have to repair their Care Pack 800 number and rebate status webpage.
I did receive a phone call from HP Service Support yesterday which was much appreciated. I like HP products and will continue to buy.
