You are the man! Thank you Joseph for your help. This was driving me insane. Worked like a charm.

This worked for me too! For others reading this, I deleted all of the sites I swipe my password for and I also deselected all options for finger swipe in the settings, except for logon.  As soon as I deselected those, my mouse stopped blinking immediately.

This has been bugging me for weeks, thank you so much for your help!!

HI, liked your response and seems to have been successful with other users. But how do I get into Simplepass? Thanks.

Hi, worked it out and just uninstalled Simplepass and that solved the problem. Wow, this site is a great source of information. Thanks guys.  Jim

how do I get to that link to disable the blinking cursor?

I have the blinking cursor next to the arrow  also,  but do not have simple pass on my computer.  Any other solutions to get rid of the blinking?  TIA, Pam

This happened to me, as well. I cannot thank you enough. It worked:)

You can find the folder in your Local Disk (likely C: drive) and in the Program Files (x86) folder

Once you get into HP SimplePass folder then hit ctrl a to highlight all then hit del and confirm. It stops flashing almost immediately
