Bluetooth mouse is your official "solution" for this very obvious design flaw? You need to create a BIOS update that allows a key to wake the device in tablet mode, or have the touch screen active even when the screen is asleep. Still waiting for this months later

Good suggestion! I tried a USB mouse, which works, but even if it is wireless, it takes up one usb port. A bluetooth mouse/pen would be a better solution. Would you mind sharing which bluetooth mouse you use and works for you? Thanks!

Hello All,
Good Morning/Afternoon/Evening,
Here is an update on the issue we all facing. There is no cure for this issue. We have to bear with it.
As I mentioned previously I have been in contact with HP support since the beginning and finally they said there is no solution for this. You can see the response below in the attached picture for your reference.
But for HP Spectre 360, I think the power button is on the edge/side rite. So for that model the power button might work even in flip tab mode. Those who have Spectre please try.
Thank You.

The only solution which works.
Thanks ZakkKaye !
I have kept the screen timeout / turn off at 1 hour or never.
Selected the Screensaver to Blank with Wait at 5 minutes and On Resume, display logon screen selected. Works as of now in tablet mode to ensure screen is responsive after locking automatically.

I would like to submit my solution. It's based on waking up on tablet mode with the help of a bluetooth device, as some has mentionned before.
I'm using this cheap joystick (https://www.amazon.fr/PG-9025-Manette-Bluetooth-t%C3%A9l%C3%A9phone-tablette/dp/B00GJJ6UYQ) :
Before everything I have to pair the joystick to the laptop. But once done (once for all) :
- I use the "sleep mode" instead of the "switch off" command everytime I don't use the envy x360
- to wake it up : I just switch on the joystick (it connects to bluetooth directly). Then I just push any button of the joystick and the envy x360 wakes up. It works even if I am on tablet mode.
The drawback is that if I accidently switch off the laptop, I have to switch on with the traditional way, on laptop mode.
Hope this helps.
I consider using a smaller command such as this one (https://www.amazon.fr/Controller-t%C3%A9l%C3%A9commande-Smartphones-Tablettess-d%C3%A9clencheur/dp/B...)

It is a design flaw - I'm not sure why it needs to go into a "private" conversation to register this as a problem
Everyone who has bought an Envy 360 has this problem
Did nobody at HP think that this might be a good feature to include?
Did nobody ay HP try to wake a 360 in tablet mode?
Not great!!
