Hi!
Recently I have update my laptop bios from F.21 to F.24 A. After updating bios my laptop battery shuts down within 1.5 hour while before updating bios I use my laptop for 4 hours. Now I cannot recover or rollback the bios to F.21 it says (Unable to find bios signature file) when I rollback or update to F.21. When I update it to F.24 A again while it is installed already it doesn not ask that (unable to find bios signature file). So, Please HP Experts help me my laptop is dying.
Thanks In Advance.

Hello @AbdulRaheem25,
Thank you for the quick reply!
The blink code is indicating that there is an BIOS corruption failure. You can try to manually perform a BIOS recovery by following these steps:
- Turn off the computer.
- Plug the notebook into power using the power adapter.
- While the computer is still off:
- Press and hold the Windows key and the B key at the same time, and then press and hold down the Power button on the notebook for one second.
- Release the Power button and the keys.

Thanks for your quick reply
I have tried but nothing happends. Can you give me the F.08 bios which was my default bios or F.21 because when I updated it to F.21 it was working fine, I want the bios because 7 months ago my laptop's hard disk crash so I buy new one and now when I updated the bios my battery is dying and I have no backup of default bios. I have downloaded the F.08 and F.21 bios but it says (unable to find bios signature file). I have installed it from UEFI and from my usb both but I can't recover my bios.
Thanks In Advance.

Hello @AbdulRaheem25,
Thank you for the quick reply!
You can try reviewing the following document to see if you can restore the BIOS defaults:
HP Notebooks PCs - Restoring Defaults in BIOS
If you are still having trouble, then you may consider performing a System Recovery, to put the notebook back to its factory settings.

Thanks for quick reply,
I have restore the bios to default but now my laptop doesn't boot it says (install and operating system) and when I enable the legacy boot in bios it starts normally and I have no system recovery partition because my hard drive crashed 7 months ago and now I have buy new one. So, I have no recovery partition. I just want a signature file that works with my F.21 bios. Thank you.
Thanks in advance.
