I am having the device manager error 12C HID DEVICE CODE 10 its for the touchpad. I have searched through what feels like the entire internet and I have tried everything. I have deleted the driver and restarted, updated bios, reinstalled windows, updated synaptics driver. I have tried everything. The weirdest part is that it will work sometimes when you restart and sometimes it wont. I don't know what to do anymore, it is very frustrating. If anybody knows something I don't much would be appreciated.

I disabled and removed the driver and installed the one provided and rebooted, getting the same error.
This device cannot start. (Code 10)
A request for the HID descriptor failed.
What has me confused is that there is nothing about the Synaptic in device manager, its like its not even installing it even though i can find it on my C Drive
