HP 15 - be005TU
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)
Display of this 15 series laptop is cracked and I need it replaced. Would like to know if it just the display that has to be replaced or the complete lid has to be replaced?

On visiting the HP partner store for replacement, they said the whole lid is to be replaced which is half the price of laptop itself.
Also please let me know where this replacement screen can be bought from.

Thank you in advance

Hi! @umalakshmi_k, I am the Mr.Robot. It looks like you were interacting with @KrazyToad, but he is out of the office today, so I'll take over from here.

It's great to hear from you again.

I appriciate your efforts for writing back to us again.

As you mentioned you contacted HP authorized service center and they told you should replace the laptop lid.

If the display raw panel and the lid is a part of the screen then you will have to replace the complete kit.

Or please contact HP phone support and get an onsite service arranged they will replace the complete screen if you have difficulties in replacing the part by yourself.
