Hi, I just purchased the HP Envy x360 15in. on Nov. 24th and began setting it up on Nov. 26. Among many issues, I would simply like to address one for now.
COLORS.
The colors are completely off on every website.
My last 2 computers have been HP's. The last one was an HP Envy, 17in.
I had no problem with the colors showing correctly.
Here are 2 examples:
EXAMPLE #1:
Amazon.com currently has a large banner across its homepage which is showing DARK GREEN on this computer. On my older computer it is showing correctly, TEAL BLUE.
EXAMPLE #2:
I am the author of a book that is for sale on Amazon.com. You can find it by searching for my name, Jennifer Eckman. The title of the book is "A Genealogy Group Takes Four Tours Throughout Lauderdale County, Mississippi."
The large middle rectangle of the book is TEAL BLUE, but on this computer is showing up GREEN.
This book is advertised on the cover photo of facebook groups where the problem also occurs.
How do I know which computer is showing the right color, you might ask?
Because I created the color of the book in Photoshop, myself.
Upon publishing the book, I received a hard copy.
Just like my old computer, the book, in reality, is BLUE, NOT GREEN.
This poses a huge problem, not just for ME, but for all companies who spend major amounts of money on quality of design, including color, for their websites, all for the user to see something that looks horribly wrong.
How can I even create what I need to create in Photoshop.... let's say an image for the cover of a book, and then have the book come back looking different in real life?
This is unacceptable, and I really hope there is a fix.

Thank you for posting on HP Forums,
Riddle_Decipher is at your service.
As I understand the color does not appear as it normally should,
No worries, as I'll be glad to help you, that said, I'll need a few more details to dissect your concern & provide an accurate solution:
Have you attempted to check if this issue appears on an alternate/external monitor?
Did you attempt to calibrate the color settings on your windows?
If not, We'll use the Windows Color Management settings to walk through the steps of calibrating your display. The steps below are for Windows 10.
Before you start, make sure your monitor has been on for at least half an hour, so it's warmed up properly, and clean your monitor.
1. Right-click on the desktop and select Display settings
2. Click "Advanced display settings" at the bottom of the settings window.
3. Verify that your monitor is set to the recommended, native resolution. If it's not, set it to the recommended resolution at least for this calibration process.
4. Click "Color calibration" at the bottom of the advanced display settings window.
5. Click Next to start the color calibration.
The wizard will walk you through adjusting your color settings. You'll:
- Set the display to the factory default color settings, if your monitor allows you to do that
- Adjust your display's gamma to match a sample image
- Adjust the brightness and contrast
Adjust the color balance
6. At the end of the wizard, click Finish to save your settings.
You'll then be able to calibrate ClearType for sharper text.
Let me know how that pans out
feel free to give me a virtual high-five by clicking the 'Thumbs Up' icon,
followed by clicking on 'Accepted as Solution' as it would help the community gain more knowledge,
And Have a great day Ahead!

Hi, I visited with 2 agents at Geek Squad in Meridian, MS this morning to discuss the color issue on my new HP Envy 15in. x360 laptop.
I took both of my computers in (the other one is an HP Envy 17 in. that is 2 yrs old) and the book that I had published through Amazon.
First of all, I realized I had made an error once I started explaining the problem to Geek Squad. My book in reality, apart from the computer, is green; not blue.
It is closer, if not exactly the same color, as the new laptop is showing.
The agents explained to me that over time (my old laptop is about 2 years old), that the screens lose color, so that for my book to look blue on my old computer and green on my new computer made sense.
They explained that in order to fix the issue on my old computer that I would need to have the screen replaced, but that they only could ship it off to their service company, which usually do not have the parts for computers THAT OLD -- 2 years.
Therefore, I am wondering, does HP offer anything in the way of fixing devices that are ONLY 2 YEARS OLD that have lost their color?
The agents said that TV's lose color, and all devices with similar screens lose color.
Can the computer be shipped to HP and you would fix it? Or would it cost so much that a new computer would have to be purchased every 2 years?
Thank you for your help.
