I have this green discoloration on my freshly replaced screen. It is not there when external monitor is used.
I have several photos but can not figure out how to post them.

Hey @Jack34119,
Thanks for joining the HP Support Forums community! Here you can find solutions, suggestions and a helping hand! I understand that you are having an issue with discoloration on the display that you had just replaced. You said that it is not happening on an external monitor.
Please check and see if an internal visual cable is loose. If not, you can try the following:
- Booting into Safe Mode to see if the discoloration is visible there
- Using Windows Updates and the HP Support Assistant to find updates
Check to see if it is a graphics issue by uninstalling the Display:
- Type Device Manager in the search box
- Click on Device Manager.
- Expand Display Adaptor.
- Right click on the video driver
- Select Uninstall.
- Restart the Notebook twice and check if the issue persists after the second restart.
Check your BIOS version and install the latest BIOS if not already installed:
- Type msinfo32.exe
- Click msinfo32.exe
- You will see the System Information window
- Look for System Summary
- Look for BIOS Version/Date Entry
- If you have Version F.13, please download Version F.14 Rev. E
- File name:sp53216.exe
- Released: May 17, 2011
- Updated: Mar 1, 2016
- If you have Version F.14 Rev. E, please download Version F.1A Rev. A

- Released: Jul 22, 2011

- If you have Version F.1A Rev. A, please download Version F.1B Rev. A
- File name: sp55068.exe
- Released: Oct 31, 2011

Check your CPU chipset version and install the latest CPU chipset if not already installed:
- Type Device Manager in the search box
- Click on Device Manager.
- Click System Devices.
- Find your Chipset
- Right click Properties
