Hello @jsrawlinson

Do you have valid HP warranty ?

Please explain why that is relevant.

Hello @jsrawlinson

This is relevant, because with valid warranty HP must provide an updated driver suitable for your operating system ( Windows 10 22H2 10.0.19045 ) in case of problems with software/driver/hardware. If this does not work a repair must be done.

Kind regards

This is the version you instructed me to download. Wouldn't it be easier to go back to Windows 11?

This is the link you provided. I followed the instructions. Please copy and paste into this the chat the specific language in the warranty that backs up what you are saying.

Additionally, my computer passed every single test for Windows 11.

This problem began after I installed Windows 11, and I have since followed all of the instructions you provided. Please be explicit as to why I need a warranty to undo a software upgrade.

Hello @jsrawlinson

I want to explain to you exactly:

- HP has outdated drivers for Windows 10
- HP has no drivers for Windows 11
- The Windows 11 test only checks out hardware, but does not know the available drivers (from HP) ! Therefore this "test" is not 100%
- You do not need a warranty to upgrade or downgrade Windows operating system.
- To get new HP drivers for Windows 11 you need a warranty. If HP cannot provide these drivers, the drivers for Windows 10 must be updated.

Kind regards

According to the HP website, I have an active warranty.
