Hi @Y_Pardhu555

Welcome to the HP Support Community!

Thanks for posting your query! We're here to help you get back up and running.

If your HP Rechargeable MPP 2.0 Tilt Pen isn't working with your HP Spectre x360, here are some troubleshooting steps to help resolve the issue:

Reconnect the Pen:

  • Press and hold the top button of the pen for about 5-7 seconds to initiate pairing mode.
  • On your laptop, go to Settings > Devices > Bluetooth & other devices and ensure Bluetooth is turned on.
  • Check if the pen appears in the list of devices and reconnect it.

Check the Pen's Battery:

  • Even though the pen is fully charged, try charging it again for at least 30 minutes using a USB-C cable.
  • Ensure the charging port and cable are clean and free of debris.

Update Drivers:

  • Visit the HP Support website to download and install the latest drivers for your pen and laptop.
  • Ensure your laptop's firmware and graphics drivers are also up to date.

Test the Pen on Another Device:

  • If possible, try using the pen on another compatible HP device to determine if the issue is with the pen or the laptop.

Calibrate the Pen:

  • Open the HP Pen Control app (available in the Microsoft Store) to check and configure the pen's settings.
  • Run any calibration tools available to ensure proper functionality.

Reset the Pen:

  • Some HP pens have a reset option. Check the user manual for instructions on how to reset your specific model.

Inspect the Pen Tip:

  • Remove and reattach the pen tip to ensure it's securely in place.
  • If you have spare tips, try replacing the current one.

If this solution hits the spot, please come back and click "Accepted Solution" to help others find the answer. And if you'd like to say thanks, select "Yes" on the bottom left of the public post, as that would make our day!

Take care, and have an amazing day!

This is the pen that came in the box with laptop. My pen did not have any button on top of the pen, it consists only two buttons on the side of the pen. And this pen is charging properly and indicating led light at top of pen.
