As many people pointed out in this channel, the design of the HP spectre x360 is faulty. The screen is wearing itself down when closed due to the part of the computer with the trackpad touching the screen (but also keyboard, see below)
It's a $1500 computer that is wearing itself down, not even 2yo. I have taken good care of my laptop since day 1. I have contacted HP support that is telling me that "it's not covered as it is a damages caused by accident". Their design is the accident. Or they need to specify that their laptop should not be closed!
I won't buy anything HP related, and will be glad to badmouth that company for putting on customers the results of their bad $1500 piece design.
Meanwhile, I am glad to live in a country where people will be glad to help me sue HP.
You can find photos below. Screen is totally dust free. All the marks corresponds to wear down issues. My favorite photo. You can see the trackpad wearing down the screen + all the keys corner! This is somehow considered as a damage that I have done ?

Thank you HP, for having your design only matched by your customer service.

HP customer service circus continues.
After telling them that an accident can't cause the corner of my keyboard to print on the screen, they changed the "damages by accident" to "mechanical issue". The mechanical issue is of course is not covered.
Really glad that you are making my life easier to show your fraudulent behavior.

Despite showing that this issue is present in several threads for the same model, and despite showing that HP italy replaced the screen due to the very same problem presented here, HP switzerland is still making fun of me and ask to pay 360 euros to replace the screen.
I am therefore glad to live in a country where it's easy to sue them.
For other people that HP is taking for fools, don't hesitate to contact me if you have the same issue, I will glad to share anything with you.
