As I said , HP is clueless and the search for an answer is not in their company. You no doubt will get another email because of this post as I do when you post or anyone else does. HP has a new name
HP = Help Please

Having the same problem. I get display lockups in many programs including Edge, Autocad, and others including games. I have a G2 purchased in November. Reinstalling the original OS is problematic with having to reinstall everything.
Looking at the forums on here this problem has been around for a while. This is my 3rd HP laptop and this is disheartening to say the least. I hope a solution is just around the corner.

If you look back at the posts on this you will see their technical support people do offer advice. It seems once the issue is as it is with the graphics failure and finger pointing started between Intel and HP they disappeared . As suggested by the HP online chat, it was an Intel issue. Intel support said it was a manufacturer issue because HP modified the application.
Sooooo around and around we go. All we can do at this point is hope and wait for an update that does work. I did try the beta link suggested by another post. That did not work.

Unfortunaty HP is not able to help. This is a copy of the email they send every time someone posts.
aparently no one in HP reads these.

Having an extended warranty is not a bad idea. As fo this issue, all that anyone can do is wait for HP to either wake up and help with the problem or hope Intel does an update that works on Hp computers. With both pointing to each other it may be a while.
