HP Envy
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

I have an HP Envy purchased 01-2020. Out of the box I could cast videos to my Roku connected TVs. Since the last Windows 10 - 2004 updates I can no longer cast. Windows shows the Roku as an eligible cast device, attempts the connection but never connects. A message appears on the TV which states the video is loading but eventually times out. The video does not load and when the connection times out, the computer is pretty much locked up.

I have updated the BIOS. No other updates are reported.

Thanks for helping.

I have gone through your Post and would like to help

Did you check for all Windows updates and HP updates using the HP Support Assistant?

Are you able to cast videos to your TV using other devices?
