My Chromebook has been working fine but suddenly will not connect to the internet or even recognise that there are any networks available. The network I want to connect to is my home network which this Chromebook has worked perfectly on before. I have already checked the following:
- Wifi network is working (other devices are all working fine and I have re-booted it.
- I've followed all the steps here https://www.lifewire.com/fix-chromebook-that-wont-connect-to-wifi-4802488 except for contacting the manufacturer (checked wifi is enabled and the network is working; restarted the Chromebook and router int he correct order, disabled preferred networks; performed a hard reset; Powerwashed the Chromebook)
- Having Powerwashed the Chromebook I now can't do anything further as no wifi networks are available
I haven't tried to reinstall the whole operating system as I'm not sure I should try this before contacting the manufacturer - I do have 1 month left on the manufacturer's warranty but was wondering if there was anything else I could / should try first. Any suggestions would be gratefully received 🙏

Hi, @Topcat374 someone else had a similar issue like yours. Apparently, the WI-FI card was defective and the person contacted HP Support.
See if you can get in touch with the support team, they should be able to provide further assistance.
