Hi Notebook- 15s-fq0019na
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

When I turn on my computer, the WiFi doesn't connect. When I go to the network lists, there are no networks available. When I then go onto the Hp Support Assistant app, and run a diagnostic check, it comes up with error 104 and says the "Realtek RTL8821CE 802.11ac PCle Adapter is experiencing driver (or hardware) related problems. When the app tries to fix it and when it says its repaired the problem by reseting the driver nothing changes and I cant access the WiFi too. The laptop isn't even 1 year old, and I need it for school work.

I would be grateful if anyone could help

Hi:

The only suggestion I can offer would be to see if this works...

Go to the device manager, click to expand the Network Adapters device manager category.

Right click on the Realtek RTL8821CE wifi adapter listed there and select Uninstall.

Also check the Uninstall driver box.

Restart the PC and see if Windows installs the device properly so that it works.

Then update the wifi and Bluetooth drivers to their latest versions.

Wifi:  2024.0.10.218

How did you manage to resolve this? I'm having similar problems.

After going onto the HP Support Centre app on my laptop, and carrying out the diagnostic check on the network section, I restarted my device (after the diagnostic had been solved in the app) and once my Laptop had restarted, and I had logged on, my WiFi was back up and running.

Sorry if I can't be much helpful

I hope you get it sorted, as it's especially frustrating in these times we are experiencing!
