HP 2000 Notebook
Microsoft Windows 8.1 (64-bit)

Our HP2000 is connecting at super slow speeds to the internet via ethernet cable or wifi. All of our other computers and macs in the office connect to our broadband (either ethernet or wifi) at about 90mbps DOWN/ 88mbps UP.  On the HP2000 we are getting about 25mbps DOWN and 22mbps UP on Ethernet, and just a little slower on wifi (23/20). I have updated all drivers including Network adapter. It has to be something in the HP2000 since everything (including mobile phones) are all testing at the higher internet speeds. Any ideas how to fix?

@jeffinps

What is your HP 2000 Notebook ? For example HP 2000-2b09WM, its specs

      https://support.hp.com/au-en/document/c03499287

The above machine ONLY has slow network adapters, both wired and wireless

Network Card
10/100BASE-T Ethernet LAN (RJ-45 connector)
Wireless Connectivity
802.11b/g/n WLAN

And you can't change them. USB adapters may help.

Regards.
