Hello @NeonZ

Hi, bought this https://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/product/B0088TKTY2/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o00_s00?ie=UTF8&th=1

The instructions tell me to download driver from their website. searched for my product and this seems to be the one

https://www.tp-link.com/uk/support/download/tl-wn823n/v2/

The packaging or instructions don't say if it's V1,2 or 3 so tried all three and none of them would install. i click the .exe click the windows permission pop up and then nothing happens.

Again in the device manager it has the yellow triangle. searched for updates, nothing.

Could something be blocking me. i've downloaded and successfully installed Opera browser so it's not everything i tried to install.

Thanks for your help

(2) After Reboot and Check is done try again to install the driver.

(3) Please send a picture of your usb stick like this:

I ran the Chkdsk and it found no errors.

runming the chkdsk from the command line. It’s been on 14% for 2 hours. How long should it take? I have a1TB hard drive.

is it possible to stop it and do it tomorrow? If so how. I need to get something of the laptop if possible.
