yes i know that i have an Intel HD Graphics 4600 graphics card as well. And it gave me an error saying Graphics Card: Intel Hd Graphics 4600 Driver: Unknown, when I tried to run a game ( World in Conflict ) even though i updated the driver by device manager.

laptop model : Hp pavilion 15-n004Tx

OS :  windows 7 x64 ultimate

4th gen i5 (Intel HD 4400 Graphics driver)

1) Hp Driver for windows 8 x64

Problem : digitally not signed so wont load normally!

Fix : at start up press f8 and select load digitally unsigned drivers

Result : Intel HD Graphics driver loads properly (always going for load options before windows boot is painful)

2) Intel Website (Intel HD 4400 Graphics driver)

       Works well individually.

Problem : wont let AMD Radeon HD 8600 Driver to load by throwing error code 43. AMD Radeon Driver digitally signed by Ati.

Fix : ????? (Need a AMD driver digitally signed by intel and thats not possible, i guess)

ATI Radeon HD 8670M :

1) Hp Driver for windows 8 x64

Problem : Wont install the driver.

Fix : ????? (need a driver that works for windows 7 x64 and it must not be digitally signed as the intel driver provided was unsigned).

2) ATI Website Beta Driver

Driver installed but no Configure Switchable Graphics

Problem : Installs driver but it throws error (43 again) as it is digitally signed by ATI.

Fix : ????? (Need a digitally unsigned Beta Driver to combine with hp intel hd driver and need configure switchable graphics option).

Please suggest something that could work.

Well, the only solution I found was handing the laptop to HP Service 🙂 and they themselves said that my laptop was practically dead so... you might wanna do the same before messing your laptop to a condition worse than the one you're in.

Btw none of the current driver updates will work. I've tried every-single-one of them...

Hi,

I have the solution. Like you, i tried to install windows 7 (to remove windows 😎 on a HP pavilion 15 with an HD8670m graphic card.

In first, you must desinstall the driver AMD and restart the computer:

1) install the driver Realtek PCIe media card reader driver. Restart computer.

2) install the HD4000 Graphics driver from Intel. Restart computer.

3) install the AMD catalyst version 13.8 (the video driver inside is version 13.200.11.0000), restart computer.

All works fine !!!

Follow these steps in order, it's very important.

Can you provide links to the exact driver that you are successfully using?

Also, did you make sure that no exclamation mark is shown in the device manager?

It works :LaughingTears: !!!

My notebook is HP Pavilion 17-e002sc. I used the driver for Win7 64bit from here:

Ethernet Realtek:

http://uloz.to/xdJocKcE/hp-pavilion-17-e002sc-lan-driver-win7-64bit-zip

Realtek PCIe Media Card Reader Driver:

http://h20566.www2.hp.com/portal/site/hpsc/template.PAGE/public/psi/swdDetails/?javax.portlet.begCac...

Intel HD graphic:

Download from the Windows update - very important!

AMD Radeon (AMD Mobility Catalyst™ 13.8 Beta2 for Windows®):

http://support.amd.com/en-us/kb-articles/Pages/Catalyst-13-8WIN-BetaDriver.aspx

The exclamation mark is gone and the games are accelerated. Thank you Xenob!

PS: Should there still remained an exclamation point, just remove the device and restart.
