@wub901 ,

Hello and thank you for posting on the HP support forums.  So that I can better assist you please check out this link.

Advice for asking the "Very Best Question"

When you post back could you please give me an example of what you are referring too.

Are you trying to get rid of your internet history?

The BIOS is just a set of instructions for basic input output operations.  It does not store or keep track of files, locations or history of any kind.

The only thing I can think of you are meaning is from this link.

Viewing BIOS Event Logs

Now some BIOS have a tab that will let you go in and clear this log but if there is no tab then there is no option.

What would you need to clear the log for?

If you are having hard ware issues or bios issues and only if you are having issue then you can refresh or flash your bios.

Here are a couple links  for you to check out.

Restoring the BIOS

Updating the BIOS

Thank you again for posting.  I hope to hear back from you soon.

Have a great day.

@wub901 ,

Hello and thank you for posting back.  Unfortunately we can not clear the log for you and if your BIOS does not have a tab with a selection to clear the log then you can not clear it either.

Thank you for posting and have a great day.

HP Support answers are next to worthless...

I found it'll clear the log if you do a BIOS update.  The only problem is that it may not let you flash the newest BIOS update if it's currently installed.

Dude ,

I totally agree with u .

Spending time here waiting for a apt - solution is like never ending .They just never give you a proper solution .

I never hoped that HP Service would be so worse .

Have A Nice Day
